SPITSBERGEN LIBRARY · STUDY COMPANION

Bring the library
into your study.

A companion in development for ChatGPT, designed to help you explore Pastor Mark’s teaching, ask deeper questions, and prepare messages with sources close at hand.

COMING SOON

We’re testing the companion privately. Public ChatGPT access is not available yet. Use Ask the Library here on the website today.

Use Ask the Library now

01 · STUDY

Follow a subject deeper.

Explore themes such as grace, holiness, the new creation, and the Holy Spirit. Find related passages and return to their original context.

02 · ASK

Work through your questions.

Compare ideas across the books, ask for clarification, and keep Scripture references and attributed excerpts alongside the explanation.

03 · PREPARE

Build a message with care.

Gather material for a Bible study, small group, or message. Develop your own outline and discussion questions with the supporting sources clearly identified.

QUESTIONS TO BRING

Start with what
you want to understand.

  • Help me study how grace and obedience relate. Give me relevant passages, short quotations, and book references.
  • Compare Pastor Mark’s teaching on the new creation and the renewing of the mind. Explain the distinction using his writings.
  • Help me prepare a 20-minute Bible study on walking in the Spirit. Build an outline with Scripture, attributed excerpts, and discussion questions.

ROOTED IN THE SOURCES

A companion to your study.

The companion connects to the same public library index used by this website. It retrieves attributed passages as the collection is updated. Private working files are not part of this connection.

Direct quotations will be distinguished from summaries. New outlines, illustrations, and suggested applications will be identified as draft material for you to review, rather than attributed to Pastor Mark.

Will this work inside every chatbot?

The companion is being tested in ChatGPT. Support for other chat services would require a separate connection.

Does it speak as Pastor Mark?

No. It is an AI study tool drawing on his writings. It should cite his teaching accurately and acknowledge when the library does not support an answer.

When can I start using it?

Public access is not available yet. ChatGPT no longer offers public sharing for new custom GPTs; we are preparing a ChatGPT plugin for the public companion. A working link will be added when public access is ready. Ask the Library is available on this site now.
